Belgian haulier starts trial of LPG technology in its heavy-duty truck fleet
š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage Global announced that following start of marketing of their products in the Benelux region, it has signed an agreement with OneEagle. Under this alliance, the major Belgian haulier, which operates 145 heavy-duty trucks, has started a new trial of š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantageā€™s Autogas fuel system.
In the Benelux region, š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage Global has appointed DM Power as their distributor. One Eagle's Vehicle Maintenance Unit will also be responsible for installations throughout the region.
DM Power CEO, Fritz Maes, commented: "The š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage technology is exactly what our customers in the Benelux have been searching for a cost-effective, LPG retrofit solution that is able to reduce both costs and emissions from heavy-duty trucks."
Following agreement to trial the š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage system, Bert Vermeiren, Fleet Manager for One Eagle explained the decision: "The š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage system offers a unique opportunity to cut emissions significantly on our existing fleet, while also reducing our fuel costs. It's a win-win solution and we're excited by the impact this will have on our cost base and our carbon reduction targets".
The š¯—®š¯—±š¯—±vantage technology is being fitted to both MAN and DAF vehicles and will then be extensively tested with the onboard telematics system providing instant feedback on emission and cost reductions.
